Ways To Volunteer
JA In A DayWhere: In a school classroom in our community
This experience uses the same JA programs as the traditional method, but it's condensed into a single day for a high-impact experience! Perfect for the volunteer who can take just a day away from work.Learn more about JA In A Day
Experience JA Job ShadowWhere: At your company or organization
Students in our community come to you! You'll give them insight into your job and give them a tour of your company so they can have an opportunity to see how work gets done. It's a really great way to show them how products are made or services are promoted.Learn more about Experience JA Job Shadow
K-12 Learning Experiences
Young kids are the best. If you have a child in elementary school and want to share your experiences while presenting multimedia financial education and enjoy working with younger kids, contact JA of Maine to learn more about volunteering with JA!
Middle School students are the best. Volunteering with kids can be so much fun but it helps when those students are more engaged and curious about the future and the kind of jobs that exist. If you enjoy working with kids, contact JA of Maine to learn more about volunteering with JA.
Young adults are the best. If you enjoy working with kids that are ready to tackle the world but are looking for the paths to be opened up to them and are fascinated by innovation and entrepreneurship, contact JA of Maine to learn about volunteering with JA.
