Titan Challenge
The Titan Challenge is a business strategy competition for high school students. Teams of three students work to guide a fledgling company through the ups and downs of the market. The Titan Challenge draws on a number of skills each team member will need to become a meaningful contributor in tomorrow's workforce: creativity, finance, collaboration, strategy, leadership, and more.
All High schools throughout Maine can participate. The event takes place at a Maine business during school hours. During simulated business quarters, students decide on price, production, marketing, research and development, and charitable giving. These choices will lead to success or failure for their virtual smartphone company. Members of the winning teams will receive scholarships for higher education.
The Titan Program is an immersive peek into the business world and provides a real world experience to help students envision life after high school. Through interactive lessons and mentor led videos, students will make connections to the business community and broaden their sense of opportunities for their future.
