JA Tools for Success

JA Tools for Success® introduces students to work and career readiness skills and other concepts and thought processes needed to prepare for the digital economy. Students learn work-ready skills needed to interact, build relationships, and exhibit self-awareness through the lens of their own values, skills, and interests.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Five modules, each consisting of multiple 5- to 15-minute student self-guided online activities, can be used as individual experiences, combined into a 45-minute traditional session or used as a supplement to be integrated into existing JA learning experiences.
- Teacher guides, available for each self-guided online activity, provide ideas for launching the activity, extended learning opportunities, and home-to-school connections.

Modules were collaboratively designed by JA USA along with national and international advisory group members.

JA Career Success

JA Career Success cover

JA Career Success® is an engaging and comprehensive learning experience that introduces high school students to the workplace. As interns, students participate in realistic work experiences in multiple departments of a fictional company, Orbit Boom. The learning experience teaches soft skills and business best practices in the context of scenarios and assignments. The learning experience consists of seven 45-minute sessions and 10 optional sessions. (Grades 9-12)

JA Economics for Success 2.0 cover

JA Economics for Success® introduces students to initial work and career readiness and personal finance concepts. The program offers 6 or more or more instructional contact hours (ICH) based on modular delivery of at least 6 of the 10 sessions. (Grades 6-8)

JA It's My Future cover

JA It’s My Future® offers middle school students practical information to help prepare them for the working world. Students explore career resources to develop the job-hunting skills needed to earn a job. (Grades 6-8) The program includes six 45-minute sessions, with additional extended learning activities and optional digital assets offered throughout.

JA It's My Job (Soft Skills) cover

JA It's My Job® (Soft Skills) will help students understand the value of professional communication and soft skills, making them more employable to future employers across multiple career clusters. (Grades 6-12) The program includes six 45-minute sessions, with additional extended learning activities and optional digital assets offered throughout.
